Mist scurried through the woods, picking up a fresh scent of rabbit. "here." she said. shifting into a mouse. She continued following the scent until she seen it. The fat creature didn't run. her plan had worked, shifting into a prey creature so that it wouldn't run off.  |

Lucky trailed behind Mist quietly. He stayed in the shadows, watching his Alpha Female turn into a mouse and approach the plump rabbit. He smirked at his companion's intelligence and waited silently for her to make the kill.

Suddenly the female shifted into a wolf and quickly pounced on it. Mist sank her teeth into its soft flesh and shook it wildly.

Lucky bounded out of the shadows and grinned at Mist. "Smart thinking." The fat rabbit looked appetizing but they'd need more than that to feed their pack.

Lucky sniffed at the rabbit before looking up at Mist and then the rest of his packmates. "We're gonna need a bit more than that," he said, before smiling. "But you were amazing." His tone was hinted with warmth. The alpha male scented the air before whipping his head to the right. "I smell something over there."

Mist followed, ears pricked. A twig snapping, grass parting...Another wolf!
Mist stopped in her tracks and glared at the new she-wolf. raising her tail.

Lucky's tail stood upright when a new scent overpowered the one of prey. He turned to see where Mist was looking and spotted another wolf through the grass.

The wolf squinted and directed her gaze to lucky, soon falling back into a glare intertwined with mist's gaze. Mist growled a little, causing the she-wolf to shift her paws, "Hi...", The stranger barked. Mist blinked, and soon nodded her head in greeting, "Hello...What's your name?" The wolf appeared to be young enough to do anything..They had to be cautious. "I'm Rei." She said.
