A journey to the beyond

“My mistake” Magnum lowered his head. “Weird dragon things? You’re one to talk” He snickered under his breath.

Magnum gave a slight smile back to Knightwing then looked to Mist. “I may be able to reason with Bear, Winter, Insa, or Forest” he said looking back to the cave.

“But I’m not sure. I can try though” Magnum lowered his head. He let out a rumbly growl and a large red, white, and black wolf stepped out. He avoided eye contact as the larger wolf looked over the group. “Bear, May we speak of some...slight terms theses others seek?” He gave his head a tilt to the right questioning the wolf as it sat down infront of the others. Magnum looked up at him with his head high, he was still smaller then Bear who sat there with a sly smirk pasted over his powerful jaws.

Bear.

Knightwing lifted her head and stared at the new wolf, 'Bear' was his name. She definitely didn't trust him, so just to be safe Knightwing slid her steel claws out. Though because she didn't want a fight, she kept them hidden in the ground. "Hello Bear" Nightwing barked, attempting to be polite.

Nightwing flexed her claws trying her hardest to remember that she prefers not to fight, 'Bear isn't making it easy' she thought. Knightwing glared at Bear's head, before glancing at Mist. "Mist is our Alpha" she said softly.

Bear looked at Mist and scoffed lowly. “Winter!” He shouted looking behind himself. Another large white and grey wolf peaked from the shadows. “Yes Dear?” She smiled and gave her head a quick tilt. “Well why do you think I called you? To look at me! Get over here” he snarled. The female quickly made her way next to him and looked to Mist then back to him. “Apparently, this girl is the alpha and your a moron if you think I’ll talk with her so, that’s up to you” he said as the female then sat infront of him. “Well uh, what’s your name?” The female questioned Mist. “I’m Winter by the way, you know, if you didn’t catch that”

Winter.

You could tell Bear wasn’t very happy with the others as Winter grinned back at Mist. Magnum was sure to keep his head down and not look to them. “So, was there something you wanted to speak about with our thunder?” She let her large dragon fangs slide out as she tilted her head speaking. She was hinting to speak wisely. The dragons were already uncomfortable and aggressive. Something small could set them off.

Mist looked skeptical as dragon fangs were in the others mouth. "Uh, yes..umm..well I was wondering if you could stay in wolf form as long as possible...because the large dragon form will scare prey away..." Mist barked. Not trying to anger the others she gave a slight grin of hope.

“Well it would be....difficult but possible” Winter pondered her thoughts. Magnum glanced at her but quickly looked away as here Icey blue eyes shot him a look. Bear grumbled under his breath as the females spoke. Winter was silent for awhile and looked to Bear questioning. He rolled his eyes and looked away. You could hear low yelps and growls plus snarls could be heard echoing from inside the small cave. Bear looked behind him towards the cave then looked back to the wolves and flattened his ears. Winters thinking was interrupted by 2 good size dragons roughly landing on the ground behind the wolves. It appeared as a blue female and a red female had tackled eachother. They both froze spotting Winter and Bear. Fire radiated from both of their jaws and tail as the red one shoved the blue one off. They both quietly sat behind the wolves now somewhat making a circle around the smaller canines. Winter cleared her throat roughly and looked at the 2 as if she was expecting something from them. They looked to eachother and confusion crawled onto their faces. “Wolf form” Magnum coughed as to signal them further. Both dragons seemed slightly flustered but did as told. The red one slowly shifted down to a smaller size and then her wolf features came in. There stood a annoyed, bright red, possibly aggressive female wolf. Her eyes looked as if flames had been trapped within them. She looked up at the other who hadn’t shifted yet and nudged her and looked up. Slowly the blue dragon shifted as well leaving a scared, soft blue, and shy female wolf who tucked herself behind the other. “I’ve got an idea” Winter grinned. “We will stay in wolf form to not scare your little prey on one condition which you have 2 you may choose from. 1 you must ask all of us one by one to stay in wolf form to not scare your prey or you must let us stay within your pack until we can find better living arengments” she spoke as she smirked wildly. Magnum looked to her obviously shocked and Bear did as well. The 2 fire wolves, twins it appeared, looked to eachother as well and trotted around the others into the cave.

"Agreed." Mist gruffly nodded. She was surprised at herself for making this decision but if it would save the pack she would have to give it a try. "Well...who should I speak to first?" Mist questioned. Almost a pup-like question for an alpha to mention. She was confused to ask but she had an idea to probably ask the blue female and then the red female first. But whatever winter agreed would be fine with her. "
